Italia se corona como la reina absoluta en el Museo Metropolitano de Nueva York (MET), protagonizando la exposición central de moda de esta primavera de la mano de los diseños de Miuccia Prada y Elsa Schiaparelli.

La muestra, bautizada con el nombre de Schiaparelli y Prada: Conversaciones Imposibles, la exposición homenajea el legado de dos icónicas y transgresoras diseñadoras, la primera (1890-1973) asociada con el movimiento surrealista de la primera mitad del siglo XX y la segunda (1949), con la naturaleza ecléctica del Posmodernismo.

Italy is crowned as an absolute queen in the Metropolitan Museum of New York (MET), leading the central fashionable exhibition of this spring by the hand of the designs of Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli.

The exhibition features orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work, the first one (1890-1973) associated with the surrealistic movement at the first half on the 20th century and the second one (1949), with the eclectic nature of Postmodernism.

Un año más, el Metropolitan Museum de Nueva York desplegó la alfombra roja para acoger a todos los invitados a la gala Met, sin duda uno de los eventos fashionistas más importantes del año. Un baile en el que moda y celebrities se dan la mano para pasear por una alfombra que mantiene a todos expectantes. El resultado de 2012: Cabellos coloreados de rosa, plumas, escotes de infarto, colores ácidos frente a tonos pastel y mucha letejuela.
