Un teatro en ruinas ha sido el apocalíptico escenario escogido por el káiser para presentar su colección de alta costura para el próximo invierno. Este desolado lugar fue invadido por sus elegantes y futuristas mujeres como pequeños rayos de esperanza se cuelan por los entresijos del caos. The old world and the new world, no puedo evitar que venga a mi pensamiento la situación actual que estamos viviendo y que precisamente sea Lagerfeld quien al fondo del escenario nos enseñe el nuevo mundo.

Un futuro con una mirada nostálgica al pasado.

El tweed sigue siendo el tejido estrella, incluso los bordados de ‘paillettes’ plateadas que hacen brillan algunas de las prendas lo imitan y los sombreros a modo de peineta se forran con este tejido, preciosos trabajos de origami en vestidos de noche y trajes dos piezas. Los hombros cobran especial protagonismo con formas geométricas y el talle a la cadera nos recuerda al estilo que predominaba en los años 20.

The latest collection sees a mix of striking dresses, luxurious fabrics, and bold designs.

Even the embroidered 'paillettes' silver shining that make in some of the clothes and hats are lined with this fabric, beautiful origami work in evening dresses and two-piece suits in thick, nubby textures, served up in plaids and bouclé weaves, in a color palette of grey, black, cream, olive and plum, teamed with suede boots and opaque leggings. The shoulders a special role with geometric shapes and the waist to hip style reminiscent 20s.
